Why is this a topic? If you love someone and have the money to throw your ceremony the way you want, whose to say that's wrong, no matter where you live?

Heck, I say buy a roll of streamers from the Dollar Store if it suits you. The whole idea is celebration of the fact that one has found love.

I have a rather large Liberian-American community near me. I've been to several of their wedding feasts and the food was indescribably good. They were some of the nicest and most welcoming people I have ever met. If you ever have a chance to attend a Liberian wedding feast, I implore you to attend.

Liberia also managed to shun the Metric System all these years. Very Happy
