Basically, a Nigerian con man, who they reckon amassed some £30 million through his scams, finally got his comeuppance and got sentenced to 8 years in prison.

I find it heartening that the authorities have actually spent the time and money to investigate and prosecute these guys. Hope this is the start of a new trend.

However, for all you non UK folk out there, I should point out that a prison sentence is automatically halved, - so he really only gets 4 years, and probably as a non-violent criminal, probably gets to serve his sentence in an open or low category prison, complete with satellite TV and an en-suite bathroom.

So crime really does pay!

I wonder if that Australian lottery script is more widely spread than just that lad? If not then i have baited him.

BTW. I have a feeling that i have seen that guy's picture at some point.

While this information is several days old, it is still relevant. The "Main Scambaiting Forum" is the appropriate place for all discussions related to scambaiting and IMO, this is the appropriate place to wonder if you have baited Mr. Fizzy or reported any of his accounts.

This thread should be kept somewhere safe for the next time a lad hugger is unlucky enough to stumble naively into the forum.

Point them to the links and them watch them try to justify the scammer's actions.
