Hi to everyone,
I'm hoping someone can help me here.
I ran into this man online last month and he said he is a US Army.
I just wanted to know if he really for real or fake profile.

PLEASE help me, I have pictures of him.
Note: He asked me to help me to pay for something.

I don't know how to upload the pictures, I'm new here.

No need to post pictures, they wouldn't be real anyway. It's easy for scammers to find photos on the Internet and use them to trick victims.

If he's asking you to pay for something, he's a scammer. Very simple. Please read this post on our sister site Scamwarners.com to learn how these scams work.

Good call researching the guy before sending any money.

Experience dictates he's a scammer. Sad that there are scumbags out there who run these kinds of hustles, but there are.

I am sorry that this happened to you-99% of the one line guys who claim to be service men in dating sites aren't real. They've stolen pictures from other sites and FB and typically ask people to pay for phones or leave or travel, none of which cost service people anything. Anytime someone you've met on line asks you to pay for something or send money, they're scammers

Please go visit ScamWarners, they are very experienced at dealing with this situation. they can analyze emails and addresses and give you information on how to deal with this.

NO ONE in the Army needs anyone outside the Army to pay for ANYTHING. Whether it's a phone or leave, anyone who claims to be in the Army and asks you to pay for something is a scammer.

Please post the emails and pictures (fakemarked) on Scamwarners.

If you have bad feelings about this guy, get rid of him anyway. And please visit Scamwarners, where you will doubtless find a lot of similar scenarios played out.

Get to know what these scams look like and how they work, and you won't get caught.
