Well after a month of "talking business" with Mohamed the gold lad, my character D@n Hamilton and his business partner Elmer Fudd finally made it to Conakry, Guinea.

He was given the simplest of instructions to ask for Elmer Fudd when he arrived. The hotel staff would surely point him in the right direction..

Despite being one of the nicest hotels in town, Dan and Elmer were not satisfied with the conditions, and abruptly left their hotel (for reasons unknown) and headed 1.5 hours north to Kindia, Guinea.

They forgot to tell Mohamed...

Why is he so upset. Everyone knows that Kindia has the most superior hotels in Guinea. He should go there to meet you.

A few more exchanges... I guess I should mention that Mohamed was claiming that he traveled from Sierra Leone to Guinea to meet me(his original script was from SL, I recommended we meet in Guinea), although his willingness to travel from the beginning makes me kind of doubt it. At 79 cents-per-minute I never called him to try to confirm it was the same lad. He did give me a SL # at the start of the bait and a Guinea # when he was at the hotel, but again, because he was so willing to travel right from the beginning, I suspect he passed me off to a fellow lad... either way he is feeling fraudstrated Very Happy

Of course I have a phone, but it does not work in Guinea. This is a country that I do not travel to frequently. It is not a problem since my clients have email. Clearly it is working, we are still talking are we not?

If you don't want to do business that is fine. Quite frankly, the childish way you are acting makes me think that you are probably a very small operation and not even a big-time miner. I am looking for a miner that can supply me with quantity, not just crumbs... Certainly a serious gold miner would know how to conduct business properly and not constantly whine about every tiny inconvenience...

After reading a little on Guinea, I am amazed he got a visa or was even able to enter the country. If he showed, it was expensive and risky. Great baiting, Mr. L!
