I watched a programme on BBC iplayer last night called Slum Survivors. Three apprentice mechanics from the UK were taken to work in Lagos, Nigeria for ten days. It included a visit to a village King, gave some information on the punishments given out by the mechanic boss if his staff were too slow, made mistakes etc, and showed a little of the life people live in slums there. Just thought I would mention it if anyone was at a loose end and wanted to improve their knowledge of the area!

Presumably anyone outside the UK can see this on iplayer, I had a look on youtube but could only find the trailer there.

Thanks for the link. I just watched it all. The Western kids were pretty tiresome but Lagos was fascinating as always.
