I've had this poor bastard on the hook since last August (I sense another sandtimer on the horizon) and got him to the point where he thinks there's $5000 on its way from an addled old man.

Sadly, that addled old man doesn't have a scanner. Lucky for him, his friend Marty (yeah, THAT Marty) is more than happy to help.

My friend, it is important that you read this entire message. There is much here to benefit you, but you need to understand how this is going to work.

First, congratulations. Carling is absolutely convinced that there are millions of dollars coming from you. We both know that this is not true, you are just a scammer in a cafe in Lagos scraping for as much money as you can. Lucky for you, Carling is a very old and very confused man and is doing his best to send you the $5000. He was very confused and asked me to help him and gave me access to his email. You've been busy, my little Nigerian friend. He didn't even notice that you were first trying to get him a loan and then changed to getting him an inheritance. Very stupid on your part, but like I said, Carling's mind is not very good.

Now you need to pay VERY close attention. You see, Carling doesn't need a loan. He thought there was some sort of project, but it wasn't real. It was something he wanted to do a long time ago. He's a crazy old man. He also doesn't really need an inheritance, he's already a millionaire many times over. You and I are going to work together to get as much of that as I can. He believes everything you told him and he trusts me to help, so if we work together we will both be very, very rich.

You need to make a choice. Work with me and make more money than you've seen in your scamming Nigerian life or refuse and get nothing. I've stopped the $5000 transfer and I have control of Carling's email. I am in total control of this situation, he will get messages from you only when I allow it. Are you man enough to be my partner and go after some REAL money?

And just so you know that I'm serious, now that Carling has left my office, I will send you an email from his account to prove that this opportunity is real. Do not pass this up, my friend. You nothing to lose and riches to gain.

Thanks, they really are a lot of fun.

Carling is a second character I use for chops and confusion and he's started to get his spam pile full of lad crap (and ONLY lad crap...amazing, isn't it?), so I'm winding him up into the fray. Plus, lads are googling Lou every now and then and we can't have that...

Oh, he's getting closer. He's already tried to alert poor Carling that something is afoot and just sent Marty his first (promising) reply:

"I do not know who you are and your relationship with Carling Christie whom I have been dealing with in a business proposition for some time now. It was just recently that you started representing Carling Christie in this transaction after I had committed money in the payment of the charges on the funds coming to him via a business transaction that has taken us for almost a year now.

I will expect you to release the passport to Carling Christie to enable him comply with the directives and agreement we had on this claim and I will appreciate if you cam confirm your position in this process so I can see how we can work together if you are the true representation of Carling Christie in his business dealings."

Of course, Marty knows the game and told him so, promising mountains of cash if they partner up.

It just amazes and amuses me that in every single one of these baits the lads always wants just the initial small amount rather than the large pot. I could see a few of them holding out, but every single one always just wants Marty to pay the $1,500 or whatever small initial WU request. Baffling, really. Laughing

Looks like he's gone...weird, since he actually started a conversation with Marty. I'll keep poking him, but I seem to have lost him.

I'll keep busy, there's a loan lad getting ready to fund a new runway that seems to be ripe for the picking!

And away we go...for some reason the loan lad is totally fixated on the "form" he wants Lou to fill out and wants to know how many kids he has and similar silliness. Lou is upset and went to his attorney to figure what he should do. Marty, of course, told him he would take care of it and sent a message to the lad:

I want to spell out some very important information to you that will be of great benefit to us both. I recommend you read this ENTIRE message before you respond as I am certain it is something you are going to want to be a part of.

First, I know you're not a doctor and there's no loan money and you're not in Ireland. Although your email is routed through qq mail in China, you are in South Africa. I suspect you're working from a little internet cafe surrounded by other scammers. Don't let that worry you as it's not my intention to expose you.

You see, Lou is desperate. His project is bankrupt and he's trying to salvage it. Sadly for him, the country will not allow him to use his own money for funding and that's why he's trying to deal with you. This is where the opportunity is. You see, Lou has PLENTY of money. He won big in the stock market and is worth millions of dollars and I want you and I to work together to get as much of it as we can. If you partner with me, I promise you that you'll get the biggest payday of your scamming career.

How do I know all this? Lou was upset about all the demands for his family information and came to me with his concerns. The fool gave me his email password so that I could monitor the situation and now we can take advantage of it. We must work quickly, though. He believes you really are a lender and that you can get the money, so we need to take advantage of that immediately. You have not begun demanding fees from him yet, but now is the time to begin.

Be clear on this, I am now in control of this scam, not you. However, I need you to make it work. I will split the money with you, 50/50 and I promise you it will be a large amount. You will demand the fees and I will confirm that they are needed.

Another one gone. Confused the crap outta him and off he went. No matter, there are always more. I just sent this one to the "director of moneygram":

Hello, my little friend from Benin. I suggest you read this ENTIRE message before you respond as it will be in your best interest to do so.

You see, Lou stopped by to see me last night to ask me to help him send the payment you need for his $10 million. Let's be sure we understand each other here. There is no money, you are not the director of anything and this is just another 419 scam from a little cafe in Benin where you work all night trying to fuck people out of their money. I really don't care what you do, but this truth is important to our relationship and our potential wealth.

That said, congratulations. Lou believes you and is trying everything he can to get your fee to you. He's a confused old man and easy to convince of this sort of bullshit. What you do not know is that Lou is very, very rich. He made millions investing in software companies and retired here on Molokai in a massive home on the beach. Ten million dollars is actually a small amount to him.

So here is our situation. Lou came to me for help and gave me access to his email so I could understand what was going on. He's doing everything he can to get the money to you, even considering sending you cash in a FedEx envelope. Amazing. I have promised to help him and this is where you and I need to work together. The old fool trusts me and I can convince him that what you're offering is real. If you follow my instructions, we will be able to pull a HUGE amount of money from the old man. I will tell you what to say to him, he will come to me to make sure it's true and I will tell him that it is. We can convince him of taxes and fees and whatever else I can think of and become very, very rich. I will split the money with you once we have bled the old bastard dry.

First, let us have truth between us. I know that there is no charitable fund, you are not what you proclaim to be and there is no money going to Lou. You are a scammer stealing from an old man. You are also very lucky, Lou believes that you are telling the truth and is doing everything he can to get your payment to you. I know your game and you've managed to play this well. The fact that you would be stealing his last dime and putting him out on the street doesn't bother you at all. I suspect you are a true criminal at heart.

What you do NOT know is that this is NOT the last of Lou's money. He's ridiculously rich and lives in a huge mansion here on Molokai. His mind is not well and he is terribly confused much of the time, but I know all about his fortune. He was a success on the stock market and has millions. This is where you and I will work together to make us both rich. Let me explain the situation to you.

Lou did indeed go to the bank, but the bank manager contacted me. He also knows about this 419 bullshit and saw an opportunity and figured Lou would involve me at some point. When Lou didn't have a scanner, he came to me. I managed to get him to give me access to his email so that I could better assist him. Proof for you, here is your latest message.

"This is to inform you that Board of Directors has frowned at your nonchalant attitude in sending the payment receipt for confirmation of payment.

I am in total control of this situation, but if you follow my instructions I will make us both very, very rich. I am certain I can convince Lou to spend more and more money on this bullshit vault. I have a plan that I know will work and will split the money with you once we've gotten all that we can.

As I said, I have complete control of this. Lou will only see messages from you that I allow him to see, so you can either work with me and be rich or ignore me and climb back into the hole you came out of with your pockets empty.

Good that you have responded rather than insisting that the whole ridiculous scam is real. It appears you're not just an idiot at a keyboard. This will be very helpful.

I propose that we bleed the old fool dry. He's too damn old to spend all his money and his mind stopped working well several years ago. We have two perfect situations that work in our favor. He believes you and he trusts me. With these facts we can work together easily. You tell Lou about ever-increasing expenses and tell him to contact me to "confirm" them. I will do so and collect the money. Once we've gotten as much as we can, which should be a HUGE payday, I will split it with you and I'll disappear off this fucking rock.

Are you up for it? We should start this immediately before the old bastard forgets that you're even out there.
