Early this week i had a short safari in Sweden that i have been too lazy to post.
A few weeks a lad contacted me from Burkina Faso, and as he knew Bob was Swedish he promptly said that he would "send" a diplomat with his trunk box to me in Sweden. I fully expected the diplomat to call from the airport with an African number telling me that he was detained and that i had to send the cash, i got something differently instead, i got a live guyman living in Sweden.

This is rare, i have found only a handful and to my great pleasure i also got an IP trace from the fucker. So i decided to send him on a merry-go-round in the fair country of Sweden. So i sent him to a place that i know well so that he could describe the place and thus prove to me that he was there. Something which he did even though he had some problems with the translation, or rather he faked it.

The safari itself was not very special, but thanks to the Dane for playing my personal assistant that decided to stiff the lad and take his cash from under his nose. The Dane offered to help him steal he cash but the lad refused to listen when he said that he knew that he was a scammer. Later he at least agreed to meet the assistant, but without admitting that he is a scammer.

Our main goal was to have the lad to miss his last train, as we knew exactly when he needed to leave Lidköping (the destination of the safari) to catch the last train to Stockholm we tried to make him miss that train.

The lad also fucked up when he wrote me a text message earlier that day, he, by accident, wrote a Swedish word, so we knew that fucker knew Swedish at least to some extent. Here is a call where TD give the lad some abuse.

Later I called and told him that my assistant was going to meet him, and to explain my absence. And the lad knew very well that his train left at 8 pm, he just didn't know that was the last one. Twisted Evil

After this TD called and "picked" up the lad. He said that he saw him and then hung up and we left the lad hanging, this we just after his train had left.

An hour later i called the lad and by then he was on the train. I hear some of the calls by the train speaker in the background, but sadly i was never able to hear where he was. But i gave the lad the glad news that my assistant had picked the money up. Sadly the lad never got that memo and he was not happy. And he would probably be even less happy when he figured out that he could not catch a train to Stockholm from where he was going.

Last time i spoke with with him he was on his way to good old Gothenburg as he didn't want to spend the night in Herrljunga (it is a shit hole without any hotels). So in all it was a fun day for him. I also told him that i had spoken with my assistant and that it appears that he lied to me. This vindicated the lad, but it also necessitated police involvement. Something that will come handy when i continue this story.

So a few days later when the lad had come home i told him that i was coming to him instead, after all it wasn't his fault that my assistant proved to be dishonest. There was only one problem, not for me, but for the lads.

Since my assistant stole from me i had to call the police on him, and it appears that they took some interest in our transaction and they asked to to see it. Since i had no idea that this is a scam i of course told them that this was no problem. I tell you this, it didn't go down well in lad land.

Just before i told the lads about the police i got this from the oga

Sadly there isn't any chance of getting him into trouble. Swedish LE doesn't allow entrapment and since he never picked the cash up there is no crime committed according to the law. The best I can do is to have him think that he will be arrested, and that is kind of what I did. I'll post the details later tonight.

@Salting the gold mine: I probably would have earlier, but the 55th isn't as special as the first, unless if it is really special in some other way. But I hope that you get the chance to celebrate like that at some point. Safariing is fun.

Next letter from the oga also proved that he was a tad bit irritated at me.

So i decided to send the lad in Stockholm a letter, from the Swedish police. I told him that he had been summoned to a interrogation
at the Swedish police office at inspector Kurt Wallander at the fraud division. And i sent it in Swedish figuring that the lad would understand it well enough. I was not disappointed.

Try to sittle your problem with your assistant and tell the police that you involved to stop writing a mail to our Diplomat because if they do, that mean they are looking for trouble.

You should solve this problem with the Police now.

So at this time the oga kept telling me that i must contact the lad and that he was still in Stockholm and the lad in Sweden had said that he had left the country and he could not be reached.
Sadly the Stockholm lad resurfaced some 20 minutes ago telling me he was in London calling from a withheld number. So i need to get him even more paranoid. Tomorrow it is time for a ASEM from the police telling him that he is being watched and would be arrested the minute the cash leave Alois' hands. That should do the trick.

Ramp the paranoia up forward the original police email to the diplomat to the City of London police explaining in Swedish and English to be on the look out for the lad, City of London Police then email the whole thread asking him to report to Scotland Yard for interrogation, watching all egress points from the UK etc.

If he is really in the UK don’t you have a friend near Plymouth who he could meet?

That is exactly what I am planning. However, TM is away at the moment so I will have wait for some time. But I have already mentioned the UK connection to the Stockholm lad. First thing though to get rid of him without burning myself with the oga.

^^ It is not the City of London Police (only cover just the city) the rest of London is covered by the Metropolitan Police.

To confuse it even further the Underground, the Overhead railways, rivers and canals (also for rest of the United Kingdom) comes under the British Transport Police, not for getting the river police on the River Thames, who come under the Metropolitan Police.

So in theory a lad could have at least 2 police forces after him in London. Very Happy

it's a bit of work, setting up an asterisk server, forwarding the phone to it and forward again to another phone (or this phone).

but since that asterisk-server acts as a call-router, it knows the sending phone number.

I guess, you can set up an asterisk server inside a virtual machine.
