having dealt with a dodgy un official over a matter of compensation money, bob has now made contact with the bank, and in particular the multi talented mr us1f0 who is not only the bank manager but a pastor and a doctor

The man has not only threatened to cancel any transaction, but now wants to give the money to the government. I have tried to explain that it is not his decision to make as the money belongs to the UN

He is also blaming me for delays, saying i have not completed a transaction form, but when i ask for the form he tells me there is no such thing

Is there any other way we can move this forward? Is there another bank we can use, as i do not think Pastor Us1f0 knows what he is doing. Perhaps he is spending too much time ministering and doctoring, and therefore neglecting the bank

He's persistent but Bob's had enough of WU for now

The Western Union office in Inverness insist that the payment was made ok, and that if there is a problem, it is at your local office.

Sending the payment from another Western Union doesnt guarentee that your local office will have solved their problem, which puts us back where we started.

It's ok for you, living in a city, with Western Union close by, but for me the nearest office is 60 miles away, and takes 90 minutes by car to get there. I'm not prepared to keep travelling back to Inverness to sort this out.

I'm making one trip tomorrow to collect my money, so please speak to the courier, and see if there is better way to make the payment as there is no way am I using Western Union again.

well, looks like someone had disappointing Friday evening

another week, gone by, and b0b still cant get a payment through to the courier

having tried to get him to complete the 50 page questionnaire, i think the lads lost his enthusiasm

not sure how much longer i'll be able to drag this out, but in the meantime ...

I dont see why you are the one who has to deal with this. The payment is for the courier, and has been sent in the name of LAD

Just forward the details to him, as surely it is up to him to make the arrangements to collect the money

i was hoping to get the lad to have another go at the questionnaire, but he doesnt want to play. not only is the lad dishonest but sooo lazy

Of course they wont see any payment. They'll need the MTCN, and to get the MTCN, they need to answer the security questions

This is a new measure that moneygram are using due to the high number of criminals in your area using moneygram and western union to move stolen money around

Moneygram say this is a very good system and ensures that the courier will get the payment safely

What do you mean that you cannot accept a moneygram payments? This was the method of payments the courier wanted wasnt it?

I dont know why things are different in England, as I've never used moneygram before

ah well, i'll let him stew over the holidays, as i've now got one of nurse nasty's security forms prepared for him.

I've been getting a little frustrated with this lad - nothing but lazy and whining. he barely touched the 50 page questionnaire

I have made yet another trip to the local moneygram office. They told me that the problem was that the courier did not complete the security questions, so the MTCN was not released

The lady at the moneygram office has said that if we were having problems with the new online system, they could arrange an easier way, but I decided to go my money back, as I'm very unhappy with the courier you are using

So far they failed to collect their money from western union, and now they cannot be bothered to collect the money from moneygram either

Given that collecting things is 50% of a couriers work, and they cannot manage to do that within their own city, it doesnt fill me with hope that they can make a delivery to me across two continents

You said we could trust LAD, but he appears to be the weak link in the chain. I need to know that he is taking this matter seriously before I am willing to spend any more time and money on this venture

Please speak with the courier, or try and find another one that actually knows what they are doing

so i sent this with a quick a4 form and a request for a photo - thought it worth a shot

First of all, I took my money back because the courier you originally suggested using was too damn lazy to collect their payment

They couldnt get the money from western union, and they couldnt be bothered to complete the security form for moneygram either

I wasnt prepared to continue to deal with such incompetence so I'm very glad to see you've found a new courier.

Secondly, moneygram did not offer to give me the MTCN - rather they have a SIMPLER security system, as some customers have struggled with the online form

Please forward the attached form to the courier and ask the person who will collect the payment to complete and return the form to me

They will also need to send some form of photo id for the person collecting the payment. Then they will give me the MTCN

I'm told these are all new systems being put in place due to the large amount of money being stolen through transfers to Africa, although I find that hard to believe given that LAD couldnt even collect money when sent in his own name

Get the forms sent back to me ASAP and I can arrange the transfer. This has gone on for far too long now

This didnt even warrant a reply - make that VERY lazy and whining

I've left him alone, as I wanted to see how long it would take before he'd decide to chase me

In the meantime, I'd set up another account and created a chain of e-mails from someone claiming to be his PA, who incidently has been able to collect a payment from Bob - who'd have thought!

Well after 2 weeks wait, this little note dropped into my catcher account

what do you mean? mrs b00lay is your assistant. she sent me an e-mail after we had trouble with the last courier

she told me you had asked her to arrange a new courier, which she did, and we were able to arrange payment

and for your information, you never warned me about anything - you just kept telling me to send the money

i wrote to you on 26th april with a copy of the short security form and that was when mrs boolay contacted me with the new couriers details

she seemed to know all about our transaction

if she's nothing to do with you, then where have you and the courier been these past 2 weeks - i've been waiting for you to reply with the completed security form

i'm going to moneygram on monday to get this sorted out

now, i'm suspecting i've changed lads, as we've gone from capitals to lower case

They seemed to know everything about our deal and given that you were not answering my messages it appeared that you had asked this person to deal with the courier

I dont know the person and i have reported the matter to the director
of DHL courier company, he said that they have nobody with such name
working with them and you should stay away from that impostor. Any
communication with DHL will be through me.

i was intending to tell him i've reported the theft to the police and passed on his e-mail and phone details, as this should cause him a little inconvenience if he needs to abandon his current contact details

plan b is to see if he has any hope of keeping his scam alive and hope he coughs up a piggy as theres no way b0b will use mg again - if he wont play ball, it'll be interpol time
