This is a gold lad that I have been baiting for about a month. I started off calling this my sl0w lad because he was like talking to a brick wall and took a while to get off script. He is in Mali and has been expecting my character (Dan H@milton) to fly his private jet to deliver $320,000 for 15 kilos of gold. My other character (Jonathan) is Dan's business partner/secretary in charge of scheduling. Dan is pretty easy to work with, but Jonathan can be a real prick Very Happy

For most of this bait, Dan was at the Safari H0tels in Burkina Faso, which meant Jonathan was in charge of scheduling.

I tried my best to get him to go to meet at S@fari Hotels, but he wouldn't go for it.

If Dan was going to fly into Mali to meet him, he was going to need a photo to ensure trust. Laddy wouldn't do it, and he also requested that I send HIM a photo, so a slap was in order. (there were about 50 emails leading up to this, but I've summarized it pretty well up to this point)

He didn't provide this picture until THE DAY OF ARRIVAL, so the meeting was cancelled and Mr. Hamilton flew to Europe on business. He is still there for a few more weeks.

Both my character's are still in contact with him, and he is fully hooked. I am sure I can convince him to waste a few hours at the airport, but I would like to ruin his life a little more than that if I can. He's expecting me to fly into the Bamako international Airport Senou in Mali.

Any advice is most welcome!

I think I have the same lad in my net. He's a Manchester United fan if that is any help to you. I'm trying to get him on Safari, but it's a long game I'm playing. If you tell me next time he is due to meet you at an airport I could perhaps arrange to be meeting him elsewhere at the same time. We might have a little fun with him in that way.

FWIW: I blew up and enhanced the photo. It looks like he has put the head of a much larger (and I will bet more handsome) guy onto his body. His neck appears to have been morphed and jpeg artifact pixels seem to be hanging around his chin. Also the proportions are simply wrong.

I suspect your lad is a much younger fellow.

For a lad photochop this is not bad.

Yeah, definitely a shop-job, pretty apparent when you zoom in.

Dan has accepted it for now, although I'm sure there will be other requirements before he can fly to Mali.

LOL! Rookie mistake, I didn't think of seeking out a webcam. He thinks we are meeting at the Senou International Airport in Bamako... Maybe when the meeting goes wrong, Dan Hamilt0n can stay a few extra days and try to meet at a different location.

Seriously, how could he miss him? On a personal note, I do appreciate how you managed to both inject humor into it while helping assure no ITP gets mistaken for the intended victim. The sale of organge and white stripped suits has been rather sluggish since the 1070's stopped producing "edgy" cop shows.

Well, lad spent a long, fraudstrating morning waiting for Mr. Hamilt0n in the Bamako airport... (the emails here are between Jonathan the assistant and slow lad) based on his emails it looks like he spent about 4 hours there from around 6:30am to 10:30am, waiting by the baggage claim holding a "SLOW LAD" sign. Very Happy

Sorry for dropping in late, but that photochop was hilariously bad! I hadn't even seen the blown up versions until after I'd had a good laugh at the first photo!! Laughing

Apart from the fake face added without any blending on the forehead, I love how he's used a huge clone-tool to try and blend in the wall and utterly failed at the shadow edge!

Lad is a little upset. Dan got scared and has traveled to Segou, roughly 150 miles away. Up to this point he has only been talking to Jonathan the assistant, who is a real asshole Very Happy

. Soon, the much friendlier Dan will contact him from his hotel room in Segou. Even after all the insulting below, I think a phone call might convince this lad to safari(he even mentions his willingness to take a bus at one point), as Dan is hiding out in a hotel room with $500,000 cash in a briefcase. I'm not set up to do a phone call, but if anyone is interested please PM me.

I do not know how this is possible, since I had you photo and looked all over for you.

He is always very concerned for my safety when I am traveling in Africa and sometime he can seem a bit rude. He is actually a very good man.

I am currently at a hotel in Segou. I was very nervous when I first arrived here, but now things have calmed down and I am just waiting in my hotel room. Are you able to meet me here? I intend to travel east to Burkina Faso, but I can stay here for a few more days if you are still able to meet with me.

After abandoning Dan at the airport last time, Jonathan has no patience for slow lad. If he want to meet, he is going to have to travel to Sikasso, 5 hours away...
