As I mentioned, I am not interested in the proposition you have laid out for me. I am already a very wealthy man and your money is better served being donated, or given to someone who needs it.

Please do let me know if you have people who are willing to help me with my research. I am looking for individuals with hunting/tracking experience who may be able to locate eggs, footprints, and bones in forested areas.

I am willing to compensate these individuals along the lines of $6,000 USD per footprint, $11,225 USD for egg shells, and $9,675 USD for any bone samples you can collect and photograph. Of course, pictures of the animal alive will be the best, but it is difficult for amateur scientists in the field to capture such photographs. If such photograph happened to be taken, I am prepared to fly you and your team over to me (or me to you) as there will be much media coverage and scientific community benefits, etc etc.

I have a very good team that I have spoken to and they are ready to assist you and also interested in your research. I would need some comprehensive information from you about the project so they would understand what they are going into. Please explain to me, what kind of eggs, footprints and bones are you really looking for? Because this team have a very good hunting/tracking record so I would be able to convey your message to them. If possible if you have pictures as samples so i can show it to them.

Good to hear from you again. My foreign partners and I are on the brink of a grand scientific achievement! I have a team in Mali, West Africa looking for such evidence as well, and it will be nice to add you and your team to our company profile. It has been long suspected that the Velociraptor inhabits parts of the African continent, in the jungles/forested areas. We aim to prove that this animal exists.

I have attached 4 photographs: the footprints, eggs, and bones of this animal, as well as an artists interpretation of what it looks like. I must urge you to proceed with extreme care as this animal is believed to be very dangerous. Around the time my researchers in Mali discovered the footprints you see, a local man lost 3 of his goats to an animal we believe is the velociraptor. It is highly advised to carry firearms when you start to look for this animal.

I will require a photograph of either footprints, eggs, or bones. ANY photograph MUST also have a sign saying "Dig'm Bones Ltd." This is to ensure authenticity. You must understand, there are a lot of fakers and frauds in this world and it would be very easy to steal someone else's photos. It is nothing personal, Jeffrey, but it is how I protect my company.

I am very impressed by the information you sent to me and I immediately called on the team (the Hunters) for a briefing on the latest development and i showed them the pictures you sent.

It seems the team(the hunters) know the country in Africa they can get the Velociraptor you are talking about. They said its risky and will really cost me alot because they will need licensed firearms, an Helipcopter(they will rent this for the period of stay),additional men(indigenes of the village), in the country they are going hunting for the velociraptor.

They are not only going to take pictures but will also use video coverage because I insisted for your documentation purpose(s).

They are expecting to hear from me later today because i told them i will pass their demands/needs to you for your consideration.

I am very pleased with your ambitious expedition plans. This all sounds very exciting. I am a little worried about the last part of your email where you said this team will have demands in advance.

I must make it clear to you that it would be very unwise to fund an expedition in an area where I was unsure if the velociraptor even lived. I cannot fund such a big project before seeing some kind of evidence to suggest the raptor even exists.

I suggest you go out with a smaller team to find some footprints or other evidence first, send me the photo, and then we can move forward.

The other alternative would be to send me a photograph of your team, holding my company name and slogan. This would help to prove me to that your team is well put together and serious about finding this animal. The picture must be large and clear, and the person in the middle will have a sign saying "Dig'm Bones - Nu6 Lyf3".

This will not be difficult for you if your team is organized. I will await receipt of this photograph and we will immediately commence with the operation.

Please let me know the cost associated with the helicopter, firearms, and food/supplies for the trip. I can send funds via bank wire, moneygram, WU, whatever you prefer, but please, Jeffrey, provide the photograph I mentioned first.

Anyway, I spoke to the team about what you said and it seems its only one of them that's ready for this project and he is from the country in Africa where the hunting will be done. He said it will be better if he put together is own team in Africa because they are better in hunting for dangerous animals like this and they are also indigenes of the village where the hunting will commence. I don't want to mention the name of the country for some reasons until the day they will start hunting.

I have sent him to his country this morning for a little survey and for him to be able to gather his team, Do not bother about the expenses of him traveling to his country I have taking care of it. About the photograph you asked for I told him to gather his team and take a picture as you instructed.

I have just returned from a trip to London to meet with some investors. I'm getting too old for all this traveling! I spoke to them about our expedition plans and they were extremely interested. There was talk of approving funds for this venture to the tune of $125,000. I know this may not seem like a lot with the helicopter, firearms, equipment, and feeding the team, but we will make it work.

My Malian team is a little further along on their research and have already provided me with many photographs of their outing, as well as sent bone samples to my office here. Do you know anyone who speaks Bambara well? Our translator is mostly a French speaker and his Bambara is causing some communication problems with the team.

Anyway, I hope you're doing well and I look forward to the photo of your guys holding the sign with my company and our password "Dig'm Bones - Nu6 Lyf3". Do make sure the picture is large and clear so I can show my local peers and investors in London. This will help legitimize the project in their eyes, as well as mine.

I, unfortunately, have to go to Mali to sort out this business with the translator who is causing all sorts of problems over there. I will be flying to Africa tonight and will communicate with you once I arrive. From what we can gather from the Bambara speaking Malians, a lot of the team is unwilling to go further with this tracking as they deem the Velociraptor too dangerous. I need to sort the whole situation out.

I hope you are finishing up preparations and have everything ready to go. I wanted to send you some Money to get the ball rolling a little faster, but checking back on our emails, I don't think you provided me with the WU or bank details? Anyway, I will send the money when I arrive in Mali. It is a long flight, I should be in contact with you on Friday Morning.

In the meantime, please send me any photos of footprints you may find. As I had previously mentioned, I need a footprint, egg, or bone photo so that we can have some reasonable inference that the Raptors are in your area. I know you have said that your team is confident they can find this animal, but it is a lot more difficult than you think, and a foot print will go a long way in making scientific history here, Jeffrey.

I will talk with our London Investors during my trip and I am sure your photo will grant their approval. From there, it's just a matter of getting you the funds to secure the Helicopter, and whatever else you need to track a live specimen. When I am in Mali, we will discuss further.

Our company's founder and orchestrate, Larry Leeroy, has died on Saturday morning in Mali, Africa. Please refer to the two images I have attached, although hard to read and see, bare an unfortunate truth about this great man.

Larry's death has been an absolute tragedy and his research and genius will not be forgotten. They just do not have the regulations in Mali when it comes to public transportation. Larry, along with another foreign dignitary were traveling on the roof of a sotrama on their way to Soronto from Sikasso (Kenedougou) when their sotrama took a bad turn and rolled down an embankment.

We are all doing are best to grieve and recover from Larry's untimely death, but this leaves us in an odd position regarding your expedition. Our investors are not happy and are speaking about immediately withdrawing their funding.

One of our partners is currently discussing the situation with our London investors but we will be keeping you informed.

It is really sad right now about the whole situation. I really miss him so much and I pray wherever he is should be better for him. I have cried a lot about him though we have not met face to face but I know a good and sincere person when I communicate with them in whatever way.I am getting old as each day passes.

However, what you are saying right now about the expedition is somehow different from the agreement Late Larry and I had, that was why I have to go to the extent of putting a team together and getting all the materials they need for the hunting. Larry told me to get a photograph of the team and send to him which I did and that after seeing it he would send me some money for them to start the hunting. Now you are saying I should send you photograph of Footprints and egg shells. Victor i want you to know that this is business and I do not play with it and I have gone too far in this expedition to withdraw from it.

I have spent over $25,000 in this research without telling Late Larry expecting that when he pays me I would return the money from where I took it. I rented helicopter, bought firearms and Paid the hunters upfront because of Late Larry's fiery spirit , encouragement and assurance that he would pay me. I want you to reason with me and help me out in this situation.

It is impossible for our company to send money for nothing as our investors are the source for funding any expeditions. I just could not get approval from our accountants and book-keeping firm unless we received evidence. I understand if you have no evidence then our business can be wrapped up here. But if you have photographic evidence of footprints or anything, Jeffery, it would be unwise not to send it. My offer stands for $15,000 as a courtesy to what you have already accomplished.

I am not to be shoved around here, we offer this courtesy payment to you in light of Larry's death. Under normal circumstances the expedition would have been cancelled and no one would get paid.

If you do not want to cooperate as normal, then I wish you the best in your future ventures. We will obtain any evidence to wrap up the expedition from our team in Mali and close out the operations.

You posted a picture over 3 kpx wide. It is impossible to read more than a few words at the beginning of each paragraph. Please reduce it to about 600 px wide.

I still haven't received my damn Raptor footprints! I feel like this guy will go through with it, I just don't know what angle I have.

Like I mentioned, I could go with the Malian Expedition emailing Jeff and saying the ole "We got our money from this stupid company, just fake some footprint photos"

I feel like I'm out of ways to convince him he'll be paid, outside of the above last ditch thing.

Excellent first bait! As for getting them to send the photos, you can always reference what Jeffrey was told early on.

Perhaps the company director's won't approve release of payment without receiving any photographs that can be authenticated. Once they get the first photos and can authenticate them, they may be willing to advance the monies for future photographs if the team thinks they can get photos of bones or eggs.

The Nu6 Lyf3 was an inside joke with my roommate because he smoked a lot of weed and would always say "Nug Life!" so that was more for him.
