Fun with lads - middle of the night calls

I finally set up e-Voice so that lads can call me and it forwards to my backup cell. I shut my phone off when I go to bed but I notice they start calling at 2am, then 3am etc my time. How annoying! Relentless greedy turds.

So I've started playing my own little game called "Wake the Lads". I call (using Skype) all of my lads at 2am, 3am and 4am their time just to "chat". Most actually answer and sound totally asleep but the crazy thing is that they will talk. I'll discuss how I am going to get them money. I even talked to one lad for 10 minutes about taking a fishing trip together. I think he was sleep talking. I'm on my third day of my "walking up the lads" project and it's been a blast. i am sure others have done this but took me a couple years to think of it. haha

That is one of the beneits of you being in a totally different timezone to them - the early morning pizza calls you make to them can be done from the comfort of your normal waking day.

Most lads seem to have no concept of time - I've had lads send an email to a character they know to be in Europe (so in a similar timezone to them assuming they are in West Africa) in the early hours of the morning and then send an irrate reminder a couple of hours later.

Yup, the calls to West Africa in the middle of their night is always a good thing. We did a call to Chief Prince one time asking him if he knew where his car was as we were the police and had his car pulled over "Downtown". I'm sure he had crawled out of bed and went to wherever his car was only to find it undisturbed.

Nice to give him a wake-up and some fresh night air. Probably went back to bed PO'd though. Twisted Evil

I sometimes get replies to my E-mails within an hour of me sending my replies. I generally don't start sending my E-mails until 3PM Eastern time.

^^Those were some good times, Big Al. We definitely had a lot of fun when the bunch of us would call lads up. Chief Prince was great!

Remember the times we (the group) would call and pretend to be Western Union or Money Gram?

Or how about when we called Lopez at "Kennedy Airport" and we tried to deliver pizza or Chinese food to him?

Yeah, Great calls and great fun. We do a variation of the Wu calls when we do the Instant Chops on Scammer Saturday.

I did that on New Year's Eve, calling at about 11:58 PM lad time to inquire about sending money. I distinctly heard partying in the background. I hope the lad bought the next round in anticipation of the maga's money he just missed the stroke of midnight for.
