Hi,
as I am new here, I think I have one important question:
- I have a fake email address with no info to my personal details
- I always keep in mind not to give any personal info in any conversation
Is there anything else I have to do or protect so they can't get to my personal details? I know never to open suspicious files etc... but I just want to be sure I don't forget anything...

As long as your baiting email address isn't used in anything else (website registrations etc) you should be fine.
Some email providers block your IP from appearing in the email headers, but I wouldn't be worried too much if the one you're using doesn't. You cannot be absolutely pinpointed by your IP, (mine doesn't even point to the town I live in) and your ISP wont disclose the location of your IP without a court order (lads don't tend to try and get those). |

so far, it sounds good.
but lads love personal infos. so sit down and take a sheet of paper and design your character(s). you can give the lads those infos without worrying, and lads can ask question (means that they get off script) and get answers that match earlier infos. |

I'm in this game for about a month now, and I'm not yet to the part of the "big" scambaits. I'm just mailing them, giving them fake MTCN numbers, let them go to the bank for nothing, playing the harmless victim who does everything in the opposite way as they asked,...
Once I got it all figured out how they react on mails and situations, I'm going to try for a more organized scambait. Meanwhile, when I have some questions, I know where to find you guys!
