Hi guys,

I'm kinda new on the scambaiting, and now I have this guy who already went to to money gram office for me twice. First time I made him ask for Willie Stroker, second time I let him ask for Ima Dumass. He replied to me: 'Thanks for fooling me again, blablabla...'. But now I am a little out of inspiration. I replied to him that it is impossible this didn't work and so on. But does any of you has some good idea what to tell him next?

He's obvioulsy having problems understanding how Moneygram works, so it would probably be simpler if he just provided your with a bank account so you can pay him directly.

Get the account, report it to a Mod, wait a couple of days and tell him there was a problem with the transfer and get another one. Repeat until he runs out of accounts to give you.

Hi,

he knows how it works. I gave him an MTCN number and a senders name. So he went to the office with this, but it was false info of course. Thats why "it is not working".

(everything that goes wrong is always the lad's fault (unless you have a bigger reason for it being your fault)).

He's failed to manage the simple task of picking up a MG transfer twice, so it would be a lot easier for all concerned if he stopped wasting his time on trips to the MG and just let you pay by bank transfer.

But isn't the whole point wasting his time? Like going to the MG for nothing?
If I ask for his bank account, it is a lot more easy for him, as he doesn't have to do anything except giving me his bank account number? Seems I need more experience Smile

You can waste his time, but you need to consider the bigger picture - get a bank account and report it to the Mods and he will hopefully be losing access to that account.

If he's stupid enough to give his own account or that of a friend/family member then he's really going to have real problems when it is frozen - if it is a mule's account then when they find out their account has been frozen for money laundering, they are going to realise that whatever scam they are a victim of that has convinced them to use their account is a scam.

The closure of an account will have far wider impact than the 1/2 hour he wastes going to MG for a third time.

Joe, when you report the account to a mod, the process of having the bank account closed for fraud begins.

You'll notice Ewok and B8er both have pink piggies in their sigs. That's the award you get for reporting a bank account (black piggies are for credit cards reported, but that's a whole different kind of scam).

No to mention that if he goes to open an account that is going to take a whole lot more time in Western Africa than a simple trip to the MG. I think he may even need to pay a fee or a bribe to open a bank account. And i think that banks are more likely to have scammers arrested than MG or WU.
