One of my lads falls into the category of "too illiterate to bait beyond delaying tactics." This guy has sent me some of the most absurd non sequiter follow-up emails--mostly because he does not seem to have any English knowledge whatsoever. His method seems to be, "keep replying until an MTCN shows up."

He answers even the most simple, 1-question emails (like, "Who are you?") with cut and paste formats. His second email was a canned follow-up. When I did not reply correctly to the follow-up spam he ignored my reply and then sent the third spam in his sequence. The funny thing is that once his scripted sequence ran out he simply started over with a totally different format--using the same email thread with not even a subject change.

This has been mildly amusing but it's not a great lad time waster and in itself would not be worth sharing, since he puts less thought and effort into his scamming than he would by repeatedly yanking the string on a "See 'N Say" toy.

However, he has finally gone off script in what looks like his first "not a form letter" email. He had me splutter coffee--barely avoiding a keyboard malfunction. I suspect baiter de-education is at work--if so, Bravo.

Here it is, with my emphasis added, for your pleasure.

immediately and nothing will stop it not to be cancelled by
this week

Well, I'm not surprised that Mr. Obama is involved. He clearly isn't doing his day job, so he must have a lot of time on his hands.

On the other hand, his wife contacted me! The First Lady is apparently in charge of handing out ATM cards from Benin. I wonder if I will be able to collect mine, given that I didn't vote for her husband. Smile

Oh, and look! The lads can google the address of the White House!

@Lehigh Guy: Hilarious. I don't think he's de-educated, though, just trying to throw around some high power names. Laughing

Edited to add: You should probably ask for a message directly from President Balack Obama to verify. He could forward it to you, if he'd like (for starters - you may later need to email directly with the president).

The reason that I think the lad is just trying to use a high power name is because we see things like this website, with "testimonials" from the president and the pope: http://www.apexcharityteam.org/Support.asp (Already posted in fake sites).
