I love it. Having killed off a few characters myself over the years, I can tell you that the death of the main character always breathes new life into the bait.

I also suggest that your main character should not be considered permanently dead but just wait in the wings for a surprise return later on. It is very easy to explain this - the greedy doctor saw opportunity for a big payout and falsely claimed his patient had died (while in fact it was just a long recuperative process). This way you can proceed with both characters at once .... or save the miraculous resurrection until the doctor approach gets stale.

Anyway, Dr. Brendon is worried about corrupt lawyers, so he must know whether this business will involve one or not:

The lad attached 3 pages of the agreement. I would say that his form making skills improved from the last time, and the grammar as well, which would make me think that another lad is now writing emails, but his personality stayed the same, so I'm not sure. Anyway:

Dr. Brendon gets back to Mr Martin. Of course, things take a twist, because Dr. Brendon himself doesn't have access to patient records and he would have to talk to the hospital's coroner, who might snitch on him to the Hospital's management:

I didn't update this thread for the last week, so I thought I should do it now.

Dr. Brendon had a lot of work, so he couldn't reply to Martin very quick.

Dr. Brendon couldn't reply for 3 days, but send the lad an email later, explaining that the bank account doesn't accept international transfers.

Things have been going bad in the USA for Dr. Brendon. A patient has filed a hefty complain against the doctor for negligence that caused a death. Well, the police are after him and he decides to flee to London, United Kingdom.

Mr. Martin is interested in why the Doctor is being searched for by the police. He seems to be happy about the Doc's new 50K loan.
