Hi all

Has anyone had an email from someone purporting to be from Catalyst Financial?
They are a legit company and I'm being directed to a website rather than asked for cash.
Also seems to be from France
Probably a dummy website but catalyst has a number across the world
Advice?
Opinion?

I did a quick search on Scamwarners and didn't find anything that matched that name. Why not post the email with headers and we can be of further help.

A Google search for "Catalyst Financial Scam" Doesn't go back to any known scam warnings:

That doesn't mean they are legitimate. It just means I found no evidence of a scam yet.

I agree with JM, post a copy of an E-mail along with a header leaving out any of your personal information and we can try to check where E-mail originated from.

Also, a link to the Website might give some info.

I think it all looks dodgy personally, but not that fun to play with. I initially was just testing him but it turned out to be pretty dull.

Sounds like some kind of MLM thing. Edit: MLM = Multi Level Marketing, not something we really deal with.

Yes Pastor Frank that's my thought too. Possibly it is to do with the real Catalyst and perhaps it's just trading off that. Either way I think I'll say bye bye to Michel. We did chat in French to each other a oui bit. That was mildly amusant.

Probably the case, Gunner. Kinda strange that they put the site in every E-mail. I'm thinking I'll need to send the payment slip through the website just to drive them crazy. LOL.

ETA: I just went and asked for loan information from the contact us page using a different name and E-mail addy. I'm wondering if they'll contact me with the above addresses.
