Don't know if this has already been posted but Naij - A History of Nigeria is available on YouTube at http://youtu.be/BPEd8xujG4Y . It's two and a half hours but well worth it when you have the time to watch. The documentary tells the history of Nigeria from colonial times through 2008. It gave me a better feel of the people and why 419 scams are so common in the country. Very sad but well presented.
