I've been stringing along a lotto lad for a while with my Lou persona and we've gotten to the piggie stage. I'd been hinting at how much I needed the money and added this little gem along with the "no western union here" message:

That is the very last of the money I have, so this is all going to be like a miracle to me. The hospice where I'm staying was going to evict me as I have not been able to pay them since October, but I explained that I was going to be coming into some money (no, I didn't tell them how, that's our little secret) and they agreed that they would wait until the first of February. It's REALLY important that this is concluded before then. If it's not, I will have nothing. No place to live, no money for food and medication, I would be out on the street.

I used to every now and then tell them my child had cancer and needed the money for chemo, and I would ask how fast would the money come back to me, telling them she might die if the money took too long to come back to me. Not once did I ever get anything other than "As soon as we receive the money, you will get your money". Nothing that we do to them is too extreme.
