Hi all,
I came across this site on the scammers TV documentary last night, until then i had been winding up this scammer for a year to my own sick amusement.
Most people i tell this story to literally tell me to stop drinking! That is until i show them the photos, then i get this look of bewilderment that you see maybe once or twice in your life - mainly at funerals!
Enough of me wasting your time, please prepare yourself for this wonderful story i call Phishing for love, wave goodbye to the next 4 hours of your life and grab some tissues!!!

Can you guys let me know what you professionals think of some of these wind ups, i would be interested to know where this ranks alongside some of the all-time greats.... |

Welcome pacepowerskill - nice to see you here. You have some really nice trophy photos there, clever ideas and I think you have an excellent approach overall. I think you'll fit in here very well if you choose to stick around.
One worry I have, though - from looking at the first email he sent out and the subsequent pictures, it's quite clear to me he's more of an internet beggar than definitively a scammer. We try to be really careful around here about this distinction - it can be hard to do especially as a lot of beggars tell lies like scammers do, and spam out their begging emails just like scams. The big difference is that beggars don't promise anything in return for "donations". |

Interesting read, well done!
I'd agree with firehouse5 in that we don't tend to target beggars as they aren't really committing a crime; rather put our resources into baiting the criminals out there intent on screwing the unwary. Not to say it wasn't funny though!
Nearly wet myself when I saw the guy on the 'zebra'! Has to be seen to be believed!
