How many baits do you have going at the one time?

I have been getting some doozy scams in my inbox that have had me laughing but I am only comfortable dealing with the three I have now, especially with work and other commitments tying up my time, so I have to delete them.
How many do you all have going at once? Are they all different so you don't make mistakes. I notice that Nextt Victim seems to have a lot going of the same type and wonder how he keeps them in line so he/she doesn't get them mixed up.

Depends. I usually pick up a bunch. Then I bait them for a while and gradually pay more attention to the most promising one. Then I concentrate fully on him, because real life makes it more sensible for me to prefer quality over quantity. Once we have been going for a while, I pick another bunch and the cycle continues.

Really, it depends on what you are doing and the available time. Some love lads can be baited in groups-you can write your own response scripts. Same thing for lost heirs and truck boxes, The first few are all the same "I am interested tell me more". I usually have 4-6 baits going which is low, but some scammers get off script quickly and require more time.

Some baiters, like Big Al, have their specialties down to a science and can do their own mass baits. Other like the ones on safari require several baiters per scammer.

Conclusion-depends on the time you have and what you want to do. I am still fairly new but my baitload is tailored to what I can do. Everybody has their own priorities.

I usually am actively baiting anywhere between 3-8 lads at once. It depends on the lads. I don't actively go looking for lads anymore really, I just bait the ones who are unlucky enough to send me their formats until they drop me. My baiting email address has been spread around enough among the lads that I usually get a new lad format once every couple weeks, and that works fine for my schedule.

Of course, if you count my phone chain, I am baiting hundreds of lads at a time by getting them to call each other. But I don't consider that active baiting because I never tell them anything except to call a number, and the baits never really progress beyond that.

When I first started I kept maybe one or two going and kind of formed my characters. Once I found my comfort and way too much time at home I began to pick up the numbers. I try to keep 20-30 going and will often have older baits return as I am working those.

I keep track of them usually by posting as I go so I can flip back here as I am replying. I don't really sleep much so I can usually get a good headstart on answering them and saving until my characters time to be up and online.

Back in the day I always had many running, now I usually only have one good one. I now have a hard time keeping all of the stories straight. I have a good memory, but it's short.

I start a "Class" of refugee scammers in groups of 10 and usually get 6-8 replies. I have my own scripts that I use on the Refugees that are consistant with the character I'm baiting them with. That way my story is always straight.

Most of my baits on the Non-Refugees I do as free-form keeping my character's details intact. By that I mean my individual characters work, address, & other information are the same whether I'm baiting a Dakar Darling or a Romance Lad.

My limit is up around 20 Max. That is usually around 8 Dakar Darlings and the rest are anything from Lottery to romance, to Loan Lads...

When i don't have any lads or i feel that i'm about to lose the last one then i may reply to a few scripts that i have at hand. Then i just keep working on them long as they last. If there is something interesting going on then i may pick a new lad on spot but this isn't common.

My number of Baits really depends upon my mood. Usually I keep about a dozen going with two or three serious ones in the mix. At this point I only really have one Bait on the books as I have other matters to attend to (Read vacation).

The most I've ever had going at one time was probably 4 at most. Anymore than that and I will lose track/mix up my character's stories on the lads. Which could either work to my advantage or make them more suspicious and cause them to drop me. I'm beyond extremely rusty when it comes to baiting, so if anyone needs to return to it, it's me.

I keep about 5-6 real baits going at any one time, but i will interview about 15-25 at a time to find those 5-6 fun ones. Although since my goals in baits are much different from the normal baiters i need to keep my numbers into those area's. (my main goal is to get my pets to place their cell phone into their microwave for a 5 minute jaunt into hell)

I've had six baits going on at once and had to thin them. Right now I have one, and the lad is not answering because he ran out of black pigs. I'm in another massbait, but the lad hasn't sent his script yet. I've had to spend over a day a week running down my list of sites to kill, but with Toomuchtime finding Bimboms before they go online, my list is attriting as the Bimbom gang retires sites.

I juggle 4-6 at a time usually as the main baits I have going, but I only reply couple times a week at most. And then there are 6-10 who get a message only once or twice a month (when I feel like logging into those email accounts).

I've kind of settled into running a routine character whose English is really bad, and who is eager but confused about what's going on. This way I don't have to keep very close tabs on what the specific "deal" is for any one scammer but just react to whatever they have said most recently.

I've only got one bait going at the moment, with a lovelorn refugee who is 'miserable' being stuck in the camp she's in.

I keep 'losing' her barrister's contact information. The latest was that the nephew came over and deleted it while playing around with my computer while I was in another room entertaining his parents.

Oh, and another lad I know recently emailed me; he sends me ecards (in French) when he wants to inquire when he's going to receive the laptop that I promised to send him over a year ago.

He's whining due to the fact that he has to go to the cybercafe in order to contact me, poor lad!

Normally only about 2 or 3, and those almost always Safari Baits.

I've got five going right now.

But--in two of them, the lad has several accomplices/aliases. In one bait, my character is dealing with three people (all the IP's track to him).

And someone attempted to phish me, and I think it's one of them. I'm waiting for an IP track return. If it comes to him, this lad has four characters dealing with my one.

Makes me wonder how many "scams" the lads are doing at once Sad

Between 0-3ish. Of those, all but one will be on tickover until they do something to recommend themselves for extra love.
