I'm new to Scambaiting, I recently recieved four emails from Ban Ki Moons office,Mr Tan Wong, United Trust Bank London, Gloria McKenzie foundation, basically I've won or Inherited millions and the ATM card is on it's way. I'm up for a bit of taking the St Michael out of them. As a back story I could say to them I'm being investigated by HMRC For tax evasion and one of my bank accounts have been frozen. And this money would come in usefull. Should I go for it?

Tell each (or a selection of them) that you're interested in their proposal.

Wait for the next part of their script (which will be instructions to contact someone else---a barrister or a courier company, for example---or will be asking for personal details. Use false details; they don't matter).

Ask a question about something you're unclear about in that set of instructions. Make it up if it's crystal clear English (it probably isn't, though). Keep asking until that bit of uncertainty is cleared up, but all the time make it look like your character is eager to pay.

Do that for a week or two (always dangling the carrot about two inches out of reach) and then slowly introduce other things not related to his script. By then he should be invested in you enough that he will start to take notice of what else you're offering him.

After that? Your imagination really is literally the only limit.

These people don't know what I do for a living or my hobbies. Eventually I could let Him Know that I'm an investor in first edition books. Like a first edition hand written War and Peace or the Bronte Sisters. Then when we are best buddies I could mention my love for the movie Harry and Kumar get the munchies and would love to buy it for a reasonable price. I'm just trying to get everything in my head right before I start my fun.

I would keep it fairly fluid to start with. Lads are out to make as much money as possible with the minimum amount of effort. If you try and channel them in to a pathway of your making, they'll lose interest and move on.

Reel them in slowly by following their instructions before it all starts to go wrong. Then blame them. There's always someone around who will help if you get stuck for an idea.
