I just wanted to post details of a scammer who currently has a pensioner believing his utter bs. He approached her over facebook under the name of James Bill with this copied/pasted letter:

My full names are Jame Bill and i must say that you have a lovely smile. I will like to know more about you, I am an Oil Merchant, i am widowed with a Daughter. I am 52 years of age and I am interested in serious relationship/Dating; I would like us to know each other better. Should you be interested, i like to swim,taking a walk by the beach,hiking, camping, traveling, reading,most times i do volunteering. I lost my first wife and got married again but divorced 3 years ago,when i discovered my ex was having a love affair with my best friend when i am out of town. I have a daughter and she is in the boarding school. I work in SA/ island under the supervision OPEC Nations... Working here in SA Offshore Exploration Drilling, it quite a wonderful experience working here on sea for the first time . I do like to know more about you. He has apparently got american parents but has lived in 'polish' for a while and now is an oil trader on an oil rig.
He has given his telephone number as: +27744443277 and also +447700047294
Anyone who could waste this creep's time and resources will be most appreciated as the woman he is currently conning won't listen to her family's concerns. He's played on the fact that she is an open and warm-hearted widow that just wants company.

Welcome to the Forum. Could you please go over to our sister site ScamWarners and post this? The site helps victims and would be victims who might be searching posts, emails or addresses.

I am very sorry that someone you are close to is a victim of these scum. Is there any chance you or family member can reason with her?

If you have access to the scam emails, could you post a header?

Welcome Monkeybutter! I second what Capone said.

I am saddened to hear the victim won't listen. Just know that the kind people on this forum do what they do because of people like her. Very sickened that people would use another's vulnerability and loneliness for financial gain. I hope she finally listens and can see the light, and actually meets a real man who will love her warm and open spirit.
