I posted this in the Love Scam forum but hadn't had any responses yet; not having to do anything today, but will need to pretty soon, so thought I'd try this forum. Below is the original thread posted.
I've been baiting a lad for several months and have been through W.U and M.G gathering escapades, as well as sec trans. Have now received an email from him with the standard story....I need you to open an account for me honey and deposit my check which I am sending to you, then send me $4,500 of the money back by bank transfer. I told him a bank transfer was the only method I would consider at this point. I got a nice email from him yesterday that would be great to send to Alan along with the account info since it spells it all out along with headers. Today I got an email with the bank information which searches back to a bank in Dayton, Ohio. The name accompanying the account is an obviously female American name, as in a mule? I replied only to ask where the bank was located and who the person named was so I knew who I was dealing with there. I want to go about this in the best way for maximum result without adversely involving someone unaware of the situation. What is the lad's angle here...having me send money to a mule who then forwards it to him? Would it be best to approach by asking why this bank isn't in the country he is in since he says he can't get money from a US bank which has been his problem all along? Suggestions for best approach? |

Have received info for two bank accounts from this lad so far. He's salivating over getting that 4500, gee I hope I have time to work on that money transfer today! |
