The missus put her old computer on Gumtree for about £60 ono. Within about 5 minutes , she's calling me to have a look at an email she'd been sent via Gumtree, asking for her email address. I replied from one of my scammer accounts and got back
"I am wanting to buy this for a friend in Lagos Nigeria and you will pay the full £60 via paypal or bank transfer, then you will parcel it up and send it to my friend. Please give me your bank details so I can transfer the money as soonest as I can."
I didn't have the heart to even bother replying.  |
