Looks like a Nigerian mobile phone number to me. Why would you want to shut it down? And more particularly how would you prove that it was being used in a scam?
Far better to get the lad to call you and use all his credit convincing you that his deal is real and that you should send him some money. |

^^^^^ Yes get lad to spend lots of his ill gained cash on hone credits, and whilst he is on phone to you he can't be emailing victims.
Another point lads usually have more than one phone, and he can change his sim card as often as he changes his name! |

The reason I know its a scam is he is texting me now to my email, I told him this was a fake number so to prove it he now texts me... the reason I wanted to close it was to have an Icon, sorry thought that was the idea of it.... but like you say I can still string him along and then get the Icon later maybe |

The "phone" icon usually comes from killing websites put up by scammers who are pretending to sell phones, rather than shutting down scammer phone numbers.
you can find out more about this in the "phone lad" forum - HERE's the sticky with more info about phone lads and how to punish them (although note that a lot of the info in the sticky is now a bit out of date - it has turned into a more conventional "killing fake sites" forum) |
