Absolutely confused,these emails came to my personal email,dating scams.
Anyone got any ideas how this could happen?

Uh, was there an attachment of some sort?

I've been seeing this type of email with trojans, worms, or keyloggers in attachments.

The content of the email is an inducement to get you to open whatever the attachment is......

Never seen this before Confused

. It looks (or it's trying to look) like email correspondence between a vlad and a victim.

Perhaps a stupid vlad that sends out his script by using what is in his inbox, and forgetting to delete the reply of a previous vic? But it doesn't look like these are the first mails of his script... Did you send answers, or did they just pop all three in your account without notice?

Obviously, it goes without saying never to click a link or open an attachment you receive from a lad unless you're absolutely sure it doesn't contain anything malicious.

I've been getting a lot of variations of this...off and on.
Some will be the russian 'hi snookie, here are the naked pictures I promised you from the weekend with my girlfriends...please don't show them to anyone....' Will appear to be a ASEM, but there's usually a RAR file as an attachment.

Also....probably a couple of times a month I get the ASEM MTCN crap, usually with an attachment. I delete them automatically.

May be some sort of phishing thing or new approach to mass ASEM?
