I am currently engaged in a bait with a love/dating scammer. I was wondering, what is the best way to get them off script? |

And then there is the incredibly long and weird bait still going on in which Phil Yerbots annoys a Russian scammer - "Yoda talks dirty". |

I keep asking them to clarify a point on something they said that was on script. Sometimes it's hard, as they immediately go back onto the darned script even if it has nothing to do with what you asked them. |

Go on and on about your problems. Car troubles, job problems, your crazy relatives. You just can't think about anything else till these are resolved. Then ask them for advice on how to fix these problems. 
Getting them off script is really about getting them involved in your situation.  |

I treat my baits as a soap opera, so my most fun bait was simply a question of "How do we up the ante on the last post?". That was fun, and made me laugh so much.
I also have a back story for all of my characters that can chop and change at will. It's almost like a mini baiting universe |
