Sorry about the title, but I guess there's no other way to put it.
Hello!
I'm pretty new, blablablah, and pretty French as well, so you'll excuse my English.
I was wondering if this sort of message could be a scam. Hope I post it at the right place.
The message is quite straightforward (or so):
"today i will carry the thing to the upper floor so we will have a better vision on that line."
That's all. Is it just me being French or there's nothing to understand at all?
I think I'll try to investigate in the days to come (it would be my very first attempt, youhou!), but I was just wondering if any of you had ever come across such emails.
I remember I already saw some elaborate scam emails with such mysterious quotes as footlines, "and John opened the door and the light was on" or such crap.
Are they some conspiracy coded messages or what?
Thanks for any info! And welcome to me!
SWS.

It's probably spam with an image that didn't load. A lot of the sleazy viagra, online pharmacy, and miracle diet spammers etc. include some random message like that (to get past spam filters) and then include the advertisement in an image that should automatically open. Sometimes due to your configuration or their coding, the image doesn't open, and you are left with just the bizarre statement. |

@SWS, your English is very good - better than a lot of Americans.
Welcome! <Insert obligatory advice to read the stickies, ask for a mentor, and bait safe> |

Thanks for replying and your good advice.
I wouldn't dare ask for a mentor right now since I'm pretty slow.
When I decide to stick my fingers out, I'll probably ask for one.
As for the email above, I replied to it, but the account was deactivated.
We can't trust scammers anymore.
Cheers! |
