Current DBC bait had an interesting development - Cammy is claiming the wealth of one Kh4lif4 R4s4q; so it's onto the lawyer, who writes back (emphasis added):

Due to your request for our legal service, we promise to give you best of our services to validate and legalize your name to become a legal beneficiary to your Partner D0nald C4ssidy as you applied. We have rendered legal services to about 21 international Companies in this country that is why you where directed to our office for Legal Assistance, Although before you will become our client to benefit our legal services you shall pay our official consultation fee of €800 Euro and mobilization fee of €1,000 Euros, the mobilization fee shall be used to pay for the legalization of your name at the federal ministry of justice before your name would be legalized to become a legal beneficiary to your associate C4ssidy D0nald, ...

Then follows a fee of "€1,800 euros".

Cammy wasn't impressed. First to the barrister:

Then to the bank:

Find another lawyer as this one screwed up so I fired him - I don't know who in the name of Asatru C4ssidy D0nald is but it's the wrong person.

And then today from the original Lad:

I saw the email from the barrister he really fucked up and you are right to fire him, I think the bank has to get you a better lawyer instead of that mafia lawyer, why would he ask you to pay 1800 for legalization certificate that is very costly, I hope they will consult a good lawyer this time for you.

And I hadn't even mentioned the cost! Thanx for that tip, Mr Mugu Moron!

I'm still relatively new to this, but I've found that killing off the lawyer/barrister/banker character that the lad inevitably introduces at phase 2 is a pretty damn solid way of getting the lad waaaay off-script. I've done it a few times now, and every time it's led to a lengthy, productive and lad-infuriating bait.

They even seem to end up having more faith in you afterwards- as you're obviously 100% convinced about their main character, and you're clearly a mugu idiot who can't even spot they're the same person. Smile

That's funny about his mentioning the exact cost when you hadn't. Laughing

I love to insult the lawyer/diplomat/banker who is assisting in the transaction. Since it's almost always the same lad, if you can really pile on and make fun of him the lad almost always takes some sort of offense and tries to explain that he's not all that bad really. But obviously, this one doesn't have the same pride of authorship.
