Hi everyone! Remember me?
Sorry I've been away for a while - got laid off at my job (economy!!!!!) and have been at home job-hunting. I baited primarily at work, where I am actually organized. At home I am much more distracted and have a very messy desk, so all of my baits have fizzled. Luckily I got the artwork settled before packing up my desk
I pop in occasionally and have no intention of disappearing altogether - but I was told about this "exciting business opportunity" from an old friend today and felt I should turn to you all.
The product is called EFUSJON
Here is the e-mail my friend forwarded to me from HER friend:

| The company works on a shared-matrix so, for example, if i sign you up you will also benefit off of Nate (who I signed up a few days ago). Some of the people he signs up will go under your matrix as part of the community and you will make 5 bucks off of each of these community people. The people you get will also benefit Nate. Extra people I get will eventually benefit you as well, and the people that the guy who signed me up get will end up benefiting both of us! Because of this, the guy who signed me up (SCOTT) has only been in this for likw 2.5 weeks and although he has only personally signed up like 6 people, he already has like over 40 people in his community. Remember, he gets 5 bucks a person so his monthly investment is already forever paid off (and to make that 5 bucks a person you only have to get 3 people in). Now he can just sit back and watch the matrix grow. To give you a bigger example of this, the guy who signed HIM up only signed up 4 people and he has only been in the company for 46 days (i met him at this meeting yesterday) and his matrix is over 12,000 strong. I forget the actual number, but times that by the 5 bucks he makes off of each person and he'll be getting 6 grand by the end of this month. He's only been in it 45 days!!! He only signed up 4 people. (you don't have to sign up 3 people a month- just 3 people total ONCE). Tyler and I signed up together like a week ago and now that we have a few people involved we are starting to see this community thing happen on our own level! When you get into the company they give you a web-site where you can track all of the people that you get. It doesn't cost any extra- plus with the 120 you pay every month you get four 12 packs of the drink to drink yourself or give to possible people. Ok so the reason you have to get in NOW is because the company just started so you are already on the top of the matrix. You know how these network marketing things work- after it's been around a few years it isn't worth it but this one JUST started. The other cool thing is that nobody else is using this matrix community structure right now and efusjon patented and copyrighted their way of doing it so no other company can copy it and share it with people! haha. Also, if you get into it now you will see your community matrix go crazy pretty soon because they are about to launch a marketing aspect of the company on Facebook. It will be the first product ever to use facebook as a specific marketing tool the way that they are going to do it. Other companies can have a facebook page but none can use facebook as part of their interface (is that the right word?) anyway, one of the guys who owns efusjon also owns facebook so he can do whatever he wants. They beta-tested the facebook/efusjon mix about a month ago and, in the first 2 hours of their test, over 30,000 people clicked the "join" button. You can imagine how many of those people you will be making money off of because they would be shared in your community matrix and that is only in the FIRST TWO HOURS!!! AHH so you have to do this NOW!! Get in and get three people! |
The company DOMINATES search-engine's it seems with testimony that they are not a scam. Nearly all of the hits I found came from the company itself. Which seems like a lot of work, and rather fishy.
I'd say this is a pretty obvious pyramid scheme - which is highly UNSTABLE, but not necessarily illegal. Is that correct? It reminds me of Cutco Knives, if anyone has ever done that. I was a salesman for exactly a month and a half. Not a scam - or at least not entirely - but certainly a lot of work.
My friend got rather huffed that I balked at jumping on board, and I was hoping I could deliver some information to her to make her realize that this is a scam, or at least has overtones of a scam.
Apparently you pay $120 and get a crate of energy drinks or something. They claim to be different from a regular pyramid scheme because it's not about buying/selling the DRINKS but getting people to join the website.

I remain skeptical, and turn to you all for opinions. |
