I remember reading somewhere that a baiter had used a "read receipt" somehow on a gmail that confirmed that the e-mail had been read and the reader's IP address. When this is used, do the lads know that the read receipt has been sent?

Any info on this would be helpful. Very Happy

Readnotify only seems to work on gmail when you can get the person to click show images.

Bigstring.com email will show you if it was read, how many times, and from what IP. But, sometimes, it's flaky and unreliable. I've gotten the information the day after it was actually read. And sometimes, it seems like they are lost, or delivered really late. If you use bigstring, maybe do what the lads do, send your important messages a couple of times, if timing is important to the bait.

there is no sane reason to use other than show images only for contacts in gmail!!!

it is safer for the gamer
