Yeah - but if I bought the product I'd get the same cringey feeling as when I watched the advert, so I remembered not to buy the product.

The CBC has an excellent program called "The Age of Persuasion" on all the tips, trick, myths et al of the advertising world. It is really quite afascinating subject.

I don't care if subliminal messages in advertisements were outlawed years ago. I still think somehow, someway they're there. And here's proof. If I'm watching say.... the History channel and suddenly feel a compulsion to eat the rest of the chocolate cake, it's obvious I was a victim of a subliminal suggestion in one of the commercials.  |
