Has anyone else had this outcome? I sent probably 70 emails last night by ASEM. Only about 28 of them bounced back as unsent. However I only got 1 response back? My new character is a lesser known porn star as I've noticed they seem to have a lot of fun with these guys. But anyone had this small of a response before?

One modality that I kept track of had a 3.5% initial response rate. I usually figure ahead of time that 1% will be the norm.

yes, that is the nature of the beast for asem's.

as part of the M00seknuckle bait, we've sent thousands of mass emails. it's why we get so excited when we get a lad actually interested in our proposals.

the success rate improves as you refine your initial email so the lads are hooked from the beginning.

if you post what you're sending, others here may be able to help you refine it for better success. just a thought.

I had such success with a simple 'I'm confused can you explain better' but I wanted them to be even more desperate so I sent:

I read what you were saying and yes I have plenty of money but I don't quite understand... Can you please tell me more about how to get the money to you?

They are initially trying to focus your interest on their money. You don't have to volunteer ahead of time that you have money. If you reside in the developed world, they already figure that you do.

lmao Tuco that was just a funny way of putting it 'reside in the developed world' I figure I'll just grab a couple from the Surplus forum and email them before I goto work. I have 'Gmail mobile' on my phone so I can respond straight from their haha. I'll leave money out of my next ASEM I just figured this would be good for those lads who were wanting to take over a 'stupid person' transaction haha

It helps if you try to think like a real vic, and model your ASEM over what a real vic might respond back to a standard scam script. What works well for me is a simple, "I don't know why you sent me this email. Can you explain this more? I don't really understand." That's probably closer to what a real vic would write.

Lads know there are "jokers" out there...and if you start right off by telling them you've got lots of money, they'll probably assume you're a joker.

Try making it sound like you already have a confirmed deal with another lad.

It's also worth mentioning that lads don't really read what you say -- you have to get them off script (for the most part) and paying attention before you can really get them to react. They are looking just to keep the scam moving, which means sending you stock emails, in order, until you pay.

So, to get their attention, you have to do more than just say you have lots of money -- as noted, they already expect that (at least relative to them). You have to give them a reason to pay special attention to you as opposed to the dozens of other emails they get on a daily basis.
