A flight to Hyderabad, followed by the overnight train to Narasapur would be a hellish safari, especially if train ticket was booked for general class. It is a physical fight getting on board, but if you don't get on in front of the crowd around you, you don't get a seat. Either way you're packed in an overcrowded train car for ten hours overnight. And when you arrive, you are literally in the middle of nowhere. It is all civilized, so there are people everywhere, but its very remote and most people only speak Telugu, a language unique to this part of India. Tickets have to be booked weeks in advance, so be sure to promise him a ride home from the destination, so that his journey back to Hyderabad will have to be by autorickshaw, assuming he has enough Rupees, or did you tell him not to bother exchanging his currency back in Hyderabad? Well, whatever. This one is probably for experienced travelers only, assuming you want to hear from him again.
