I can't believe it! I had been stringing along my "attorney" for over three months, gotten him completely off-script, had him apologize profusely to me on several occasions, threatened him as my ex-CIA friend when my character was in the hospital, failed miserably on about five occasions to complete the WUxfer, etc.
He finally stopped emailing me and I figured he had wised up. I broke my usual rule of not divulging that I knew he was a scammer and told him I knew all about him, that he was a fake, a 419, etc. and that he wouldn't even have the balls to email me back about that.
I didn't hear from him again which was no surprise. THEN, today, almost two weeks after my last email, he actually wrote me and apologized for not getting back to me, said he hadn't checked his email, his wife was divorcing him, blah-blah-blah and that he was shocked that I would accuse him (he actually said "accuss" him) of such things! He also said that the last WU slip I had sent him was unreadable (imagine that!) and he needed the MTCN to claim the money!

Can it be that he still believes I'm for real, or do you think he knows I'm a baiter and is trying to string ME along? I kind of doubt he would do that, since there would be no monitary gain in it for him, but I'm still amazed that he's coming back for more!

Anyway, I just thought I would share that. If anyone would like his addy to play with him yourself PM me and we can talk about it.

he thinks you are a victim. he left for a while and had no luck, then he remembered, "hey, this other guy tried to send me money 5 times"

have fun, it is a blast when they come back to you, it shows they really love you.

i see a couple options, turn this into a romance or go for the ID-1ot security photo. Laughing

Tell him that you still think that he's a scammer unless he proves himself with a nice big banner picture trophy. Smile

I'd kind of been thinking along the lines of a trophy photo as well. I think I'll drive home to him how much he knows of my personal life and how little I know of his, and ask him for a pic that says hello to me on it, or something like that. I've never gotten a trophy before and this might be a good time to try for one. I'll post it if it happens!

I think I'll let him stew for a day or two before I answer him.

@ghecko, I don't know how this would work as a romance since he knows (THINKS he knows!) I'm a 72 year old man, and I know he's a 42 year ol man. There's been no suggestion of intimacy or anything even remotely like that. I think this will have to be a "straight" bait. (pun intended!!)
