I've got some horses advertised and keep getting replies from a scammer. I'm wondering where he's from before I mess with him.

Thanks. So I'm probably fairly safe baiting this guy. I got smart and started using an e-mail specifically for when I try to sell my horses. I used to use my real one AND put my name and number up.

How the heck are you able to tell where it's from? This coming from someone who can barely use my computer.

Paste the header (or just an IP) in the box on this page: http://headertool.apelord.com/

In the case of a full header, bottom most location is probably the closest to the correct one, though it depends on the email service being used, and the ISP.

I'm now setting up totally different e-mail accounts for when I advertise more horses for sale. Then I can have some fun when the scammers come knocking. Thanks for the help.
