I had an idea that stemmed from an idea that I had a while ago. How's about some of us get together, and make a wee group, specifically dedicated to telephoning the baiters? I know Eliza and such phone lads and have a lot of fun with it, I used to. Now that I'm back on the forums, I've started a Freecall account again, and was wondering if anyone else was interested?

I believe that baits can be clinched if the phone is added in, although I do acknowledge some can be completed with e-mail only. Or even a numbers database on Excel or something, where numbers and names and e-mail address could be added.

I had an idea like that before, and it just about worked, but new members will sure have joined in my abscence and they might have more expertise than me in that field.

Basically it's a good idea -- it's well known that phone contact is more effective than straight e-mail in hooking the Lads into believing they have a real victim on their hands.

I could definitely see that coming in handy for someone like me who doesn't have the time to make calls--or ability to keep a straight face during the call.

I've been toying with the idea of a group phoning a lad trying to use the room rental scam, this would fit in nicely with your idea. We would want to know what sort of person is renting our spare room.

It would also help to set up a roster to phone a lad from round the world just to make sure he's awake. A group from the various time zones could call him every hour on the hour.

Neat idea, I try to phone some lads when I get in at about 3am from work. Always goes down well.

And yes, we can call the lads too!
