What is this

Got an email saying chat with this person on yahoo messenger, said she was on webcam, actually did chat for a little while and she tried to initiate a webcam session but when I tried to accept (unplugging my own webcam first!) said server busy.

Now when I see "her" online, I get this message that she's not on Yahoo, but she is on some kind of webcam and it gives a site to go to (which I didn't go to) and says you can also sms through her mobile. When I tried to send an sms through Yahoo, said it wouldn't go through (guess it won't accept sms that is free to the sender).

So what is this? Is this a "real" scam where you're going to communicate with this person and be asked to send money, or is it a "sign up for my service" scam where the object is just to get you to sign up for some kind of pay service in order to communicate?

Sounds like a spam email and probably selling a service.

I am thinking spam promoting a pay per view style webcam as well.

Post up some details and I will take a look, email address, the actual message you recieved, I am sure there are some things to search on in there.

Please also post the website link but disable the link first just in case, it is not my area but somebody else may be able to tell you more about the site.

I would also say she might want to sell a service or wants you to pay to see here.
