Hi everyone I'm new to the forums. I came across this site on google I sell on ebay and have been constantly getting emails from scammers in Nigeria to get me to send items there. Nothing I do helps they won't stop and Ebay is always 3 days behind. Is it Ok if I post a link to this website on my ebay listing and maybe a few pictures for the Nigerians to help deter them away?

That is probably not a good idea. While Nigerians (and other scammers - not all are Nigerians!) do visit this site, that is not something to be encouraged. If a scammer learns to recognize a likely baiter, he will be harder to bait (and will be able to focus his attention more specifically on real victims).

Good point... Is there a section on this forum geared toward Ebay/Paypal And any help for it....I'm pulling my hair out of my head. Ebay/Paypal is no help.

Difficult one since ebay listings inevitably point towards your real identity. be careful.

Or do what I do and just write in the listing/shipping policies "I will not post to nigeria, cote d'ivoire or any other such tin pot, no account nations so don't bother asking." Also specify as clearly as you can in the post-to list what countries you will post to so that it won't get easily seen in Nigera etc.

Nailgunner, please don't call other countries "tinpot" or "no account"on this board. There are plenty of honest people in Nigeria, Ivory Coast etc who are as disgusted as us about the extent of scams, and we do not slur them all for the sake of the minority of scumbags.

We welcome the publicity, despite the risk that a few lads may find their way here. It's the same with the forums here - some are open to public view to raise awareness, and others are behind a log-in to prevent drive-by lads seeing them. Those that register usually get spotted quickly enough. Smile
