I've been looking for references on the web to a place in Nigeria called Sungbo Eredo, "reputed to be the largest single pre-colonial monument in Africa" (to quote Wikipedia). It's a vast earthwork in the Benin rainforest zone. I found my way to this site: http://www.worldheritagesite.org/sites/osunosogbo.html and among some postings there found this response to some less-than-enthusiastic comments by a travel writer named Paul Tanner. Its expressed attitudes may be of interest to baiters of Nigerian scammers.
