I have a Palm Treo 750V and want to know if anyone can recommend a mail provider. It has a mail client - Outlook, and I can synch it to use POP3 (I think) - but apart from my work email client I have only ever used webmail, so not sure how to do this, or what mail provider I should use.
Anyone? |

I have been using Gmail and my POP provider with my Treo 650 for years and am quite happy with the performance.
You might have better luck posting that question over here at:

I spent some time on that site to learn how to make a custom ROM for my Treo. I was able to download the installed ROM, delete and add software, and then reload it to my phone. Very cool.
Good luck! |

Cheers Stoker. Do you know why after browsing the "Contract Internet" stays active? Is this charging me or do I have to manually switch back to "Phone" in the Wireless Manager app? |

That would depend on your service provider. Tmobile gives me an 'unlimited' plan so I don't worry about it to much. |

The 750 is not a Palm OS??
I had a treo 300, 600, and 680
There are some GREAT email programs from aftermarket suppliers to handle multiple email accounts with multiple services, at the same time.
I forget the last one I used that was cool.
Went back to blackberry, and feel so damn limited....... |

Big Dog You need to be using one of the Palm OS ones. Let me know if that is the case.
Stepan - I'm using snappermail. Nice client. |
