Hi,

I'm an IT monkey for a holiday rental advertising site, offering direct contact between advertisers and renters. Obviously I can't say which one.

The industry would seem to be blighted by people (mostly Nigerians) split into 2 categories :

1)either advertising fake apartments, collecting deposits via Western Union ($1000+ dollars at a time)
2) or making fake enquirers emailing our owners and then sending them dodgy cheques and asking for quick refunds.

Is it within the rules to post email addresses (you guessed it, hotmail, aol, gmail) of these people to allow you to have fun with them?

Or can I dish them out by PM?

I play games with them myself sometimes, but i seem to have too much work and too little time to play.

You are welcome to post the email addresses only if they are accompanied by the letter which contains them. This rule is to protect innocent people from being harassed. As already stated, please post the letters with the headers (X out your company email addy) in the Surplus Letters forum and they will get baited. Very Happy

can't post headers as they don't come in direct email but http post on the website , but I can post weblogs and IP tracks that back it up Smile

No need to post those - just post the letters, and put the words "No headers available" at the top.
