Sometime last week between about 24th to 28th March, I come across a post with an unusual sig line.
I intended to go back and copy the sig line with the authors permission. It slipped my mind, and now I cannot find the post,
The sig line was only a few lines, and quite distinctive. It contained the words
"formal instrument of surrender" contained in a two or three line quote
I would be thankful if any one remembers the author or the post. I've not seen it before, and it was quite cleverly written.
The search function does not appear to read sig line material consistently. |

No, Bill, laziness was not the problem. I spent about 6 hours and enlisted Sheboppe's excellent mind to come up with the idea of posting.
I am a little confused as to why "Search" only finds some things in sig lines. It is quite selective. The words I quoted were the only memory I had of the post and I searched Eater and Google, albeit maybe not correctly then.

Thank you for your input as well. It is an excellent quote. I shall spend some time reconstructing now and ascertain what I was doing wrong.
