Very interesting article; thanks for posting it. The unit I work in at my library does a lot of heirship tracing for oil & land rights. It is nice to see how the Brits do it.

There is a programme on BBC1, usually about 2:00 - 3:00am, it's called Heir Hunters:

They always have Fraser & Fraser on there along with another firm called Celtic Research, racing against time to see who finds the heirs first.

^^ I would love to see the program. I know how hard it can be to piece together the family. I have done a lot of adoption/birth parent searches and would love to see how they do it. I need to come to England for an internship..... Smile
