Well, I'm back and not too happy about it. It's frikkin' cold and expensive here back home.
Feb 1st I left to Bangkok and I returned Feb 28th.
The first week I was diving and took the AOWD course in Thailand. Diving itself was extremely nice, we dove to 32m and tested what it felt like to get narked. I didn't really notice anything special, I think I would have needed a few meters more depth.
I also had to fight two times with a pillow-sized Titan Triggerfish. At the depth of 24m I also saw a bull shark, which was less than 10 meters away from me.
After the diving course and a few fun dives I travelled around Laos for about 3 weeks. Tubing in Vang Vieng, fishing/swimming in the Mekong, hammocking in Don Det... Laos is possibly the most laid back country in SE Asia, I really loved the place.
It was a great trip, but a month was not nearly enough.
