Some may recall my fling with Elena, yes I know there has been many Elenas lately, this is the one that I kept sending much the same reply to with the Pelmenis request which I finally got.

I told my wife about it and she asked for a soup recipe so I went on my way to get it for her from my Vlad and i have just recieved this;

stirring slowly while the mix will not thicken. To add a cube and meat
of a chicken. To put bones of a chicken on a frying pan, to salt,
pepper, and to add a lemon juice. To cover a frying pan and to leave
on fire of 10 more minutes. In the meantime to make toasts of bread
and to cut them on small cubes. To remove bones of a chicken from
soup. Whether to check up there is enough salt. To pour soup in
superficial plates and to submit, having strewed toasts and a parsley

Finally I get my first completely non scripted email from her after 1 month, now lets see if I can keep her off script long enough to get some fruity conversation going.

BTW if anybody tries the soup let me know what it is like, if I hand over the recipe to my wife she is sure to want to use it.

Sounds like a very ordinary chicken soup with cro�tons. Not much of a recipe and the instructions are pretty jumbled up.

I'd guess the bulb is a garlic bulb rather than a 40 watt or a tulip. Smile

I actually do like to cook and I have made chicken soup myself many times but I have never tried with lemon juice.

I think I may have to omit the light bulb Wink

My guess would be the first 5 lines are unscripted, the rest copy and pasted from somewhere else.

Whenever I see lemons in a recipe I have to check and make sure it's not something like Swedish Lemon Angels.

Well your all going to end up with wet crotches anyway since you have to use 'superficial' plates. Better than exostential I suppose!!

2 out of ten to your Vlad for a very boring and uninteresting chicken (or chechen maybe?) soup recipe Murray. I make far better myself at home. It's missing white wine, cloves, some thyme etc. Also no good soup should be made from a stock cube, that's just lazy!

On the other hand, 9 out of ten for all that lemony goodness!
