It's not for me. A friend is thinking about getting one but info is scarce on reliability/servicing and so forth.
I've never seen them before.
I think they're more common in the States or OZ than the UK, so knew where to come and ask for advice. Cool

They look like a whole load of fun... but then, I am a 47 year old schoolboy. Wink

They're road legal too.

I've heard them described as 'death on wheels', by Top Gear I believe....

Hell of a way to go though...great fun.

Didnt Ozzy Osbourne get mashed up in one of these or was that something else?

They're great, you can teach some of them to talk, and they come in very pretty colours, but remember to buy at least two or they get very lonely as they're group-living birds in the wild.

Quadbiking as they call it in the states is great!

Awesome way to do forest tracks that would normally take about 9 hours to trek. I've done quite a bit of it in NZ and you really can't have much more fun on 4 wheels (while moving).

These things are used two different ways. 99% of the people with them take them to recreational vehicle off road areas. These are places where people with dune buggies, sand rails, chopped cars and Tonka trucks go. The latest fad there are trucks with tubular frames. These RV areas are basically industrial playpens. They are nothing more than environmental disasters with noise, air and chemical pollution. Lots of operators are EtOH fueled.

The other 1% of the time they are used on dirt tracks. The rule about these things is that you never travel further than you are prepared to walk back.
