I have decided that with the enormous number of scam emails that arrive in my mail box, of which there are far too many for me to work on, I would selectively try to educate the lads so that their scams are more believable.

I felt it was my christian duty to help then along.

Therefore whenever I get an email offering me huge amounts of cash on $100 bills, I respond to them explaining the reason I knew this was a scms, was because the US government, in reponse to the huge amount of counterfeit currency in the system, has replaced the $100 dill with a $90 bill, and that as from April this year the $100 bill is no longer legal tender. My advice to them is to burn any $100 bills they may have.

Kind of me to have their best interests at heart? Who knows, some of them may even believe it.

I also believe that the new $90 bill has a picture of George W. Bush and Hillary Clinton in a loving embrace on it.

I'm curious as well as to how this one works.

Maybe, instead of telling them that you know it's a scam, you could tell them that the Tre4sury D3p4rtm3nt just made the announcement. Perhaps they hadn't heard yet.

Then, instead of having them burn their hundreds, maybe you could tell them that the Tre4sury D3p4rtm3nt has designated the St. Vinc3nt d3 P4ul S0ci3ty to collect the remaining outstanding bills. That way, anyone who bites might end up donating them to a worthy charity.

If you get one to believe you you might want to offer to assist them with their scripts. I can't find it on the forum anymore but I remember one script going around about Herbert Buttplug of Mars that was hilarious. It's even funnier when other baiters start getting the script. Laughing

Perhaps you could use some aspects of the conspiracy theories slushing around the net and say that the US government is replacing the US dollar in line with UN or IMF 'rules' - instead of the greenback, there'll be plastic notes akin to the Australian dollar.

Of course, the larger denominations will be replaced first - such as $100 bills.
