I am new here and gung ho as hell... I have already have a mentor and has been helpful along the way so far... Am I out of line to post a new topic here or is there a forum for general questions? I dont know how else to chat real time with people who know... If I am in the wrong place let me know... I do have some questions though
My question is where do i find the chat real time or do i just need to pick a moderator and PM the directly? |

Hi MBT,
You can post questions here or in the SCAMBAITING HELP, HINTS & TIPS forum...
You can always PM your Mentor... however, take into account time zone differences (we have people from around the world here).
One advice -- utilize the Edit button -- it's your friend... especially in you need to update/change the text within a few minutes from original posting. However, please indicate what you edited (see my example below).
Example:
Edit: preface additions like this...
Edit: Fixed Typos...
etc. |

Like I said I do have a mentor and I have read all the stickies and then some... somewhere along the way I swear I saw something saying that premium members have an option of real time chat... that may be my best option ... if I could be directed to it. that is what I am looking for
please be nice... I am computer illiterate and board as hell ... I am a merchant marine and sail 8 months a year... I am off work and looking for something to do... dont mean to be a pain in the ass... but the last time tried this i certainly got the feeling i was doing something wrong...
guide me to the right place and i will not waste anyones time... i hope... haha |

Eater does not have a chat, MrBigTime, although some of the members get on skype chat every now and then. Skype chat is completely seperate from Eater, although the members on chat are all members here. For this chat you need to have skype. (free download www.skype.com) You then need to pm your skype name to one of the chat members, so you can be added.
What you were referring to was online help for tech problems we had in the premium forum, but this was disabled. It wasn't really a chat, it was a new feature to the forum and caused some problems with IE as I recall, so is not available anymore.
Do me a favour and change the thread title to something that gives away the content  You can do that by going to your first post in this thread and click on the edit button. It is always nice that people can see what a thread will be about before clicking it  I am sure a mod will move this to general sooner or later.
Main is bascially for ongoing baits, hints and tips for well, hints and tips, general for the rest of the stuff.

IE stands for Internet Explorer, as opposed to other possible programs (browsers) you could use to look at websites (like 419eater.com). |

^^^^I thought IE was "Infernal Exploder". Anyway, one day it just plain wouldn't open Eater, so I use FF exclusively now. |
