This bait, a check mule scam, is now moving forward and I'll be getting a payment from the customer soon.

In the meantime, I'll claim a misspelling on the check (and they may actually misspell my name!) so that they'll have to send another.

And in all the confusion, he's forgotten that I needed to send my ID so that the "Board of Directors" could review it and know who I am.

Haha, I'm finding that lads give up on the ID surprisingly quickly.

I vastly prefer baiting the patient ones as opposed to the greedy quick-buck artists. The patient ones are much more entertaining and give you many more chances to annoy them. Wink

^^^ i use the .dll ID modality and very rarely do lads question it. If they do, they'll only do so once.

I figure that sometimes it would take a real vic quite a while to send an ID, so if i'm offering it up (albeit unattainable) within the first few requests, then they must think i'm in.

I agree, I recently kept one going for almost three months before money was even mentioned. I have one going now in which I hope to break that record. The ones without a good command of English tend to be much harder to get off script than the ones with a better command of English.
